Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms govern a merchant's use of the OBSYX Shopify application and related WhatsApp, Messenger, storefront, and automation services.

2. Merchant Use

Merchants may use OBSYX only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with Shopify policies, applicable law, and the rules of any messaging or communication channel used with OBSYX, including the Meta Messenger Platform.

3. Customer Data and Merchant Obligations

  • The merchant remains responsible for its relationship with customers and for providing any notices or obtaining any consents required by law.
  • The merchant must only use OBSYX with customer data that it is permitted to process and communicate on.
  • For Messenger, the merchant is responsible for the Page assets, webhook permissions, and any notices or consents required by Meta or applicable law.
  • OBSYX processes customer-related data only to provide the merchant-requested service and according to the OBSYX Privacy Policy.

4. Pricing and Billing

Public app billing is managed through Shopify's official billing systems. Charges, trial periods, upgrades, downgrades, and subscription status are governed by the pricing terms displayed to the merchant within Shopify.

5. Service Availability

OBSYX may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features as needed to maintain security, reliability, compliance, or product quality.

6. Security

OBSYX applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect service data and customer-related information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Termination

A merchant may stop using OBSYX by uninstalling the app or ending the applicable subscription within Shopify, subject to Shopify and plan terms.
